• Gate for Front Door: The Bow Wow Barrier mounts to your door and door jamb to stop your dog or cat from running out doors as you collect a delivery or talk to your neighbor. No more crating pets or awkward body barriers needed when you open the door!
• 28” Wide x 34” Tall: The Bow Wow Barrier expands up to 28” wide when fully opened. The scratch resistant, non-toxic mesh is 34” tall. Our dog gate for the front door automatically retracts when the door is closed and does not contain a locking mechanism. (For a locking retractable gate see Retract-A-Gate by Smart Retract.)
• Hardware Mounted: Simply use the included screws to mount the smart pet door securely to wood, metal, or storm doors. If you ever decide to remove your front door gate for dogs, a little patch and touch up will make the small screw holes unnoticeable again. Or, if you don't want screws, you may be able to use an adhesive, but this would not be as secure and is not recommended.
• Inward & Outward Doors: This front door dog barrier is unique in that it can extend outward rather than the typical inward, and be installed outside the home rather than inside.
• Does Not Lock: The Bow Wow Barrier door gate does not contain a locking mechanism. It was designed to retract back forth dynamically with your door. For a locking dog gate or baby gate or to cover openings wider than 28”, see Retract-A-Gate by Smart Retract.
• How Do I Exit: The Bow Wow Barrier for front door moves back and forth with your door to block the opening during brief encounters. When you need to walk past your Bow Wow Barrier secured door, simply unhook the handle side from your exterior door and guide the handle back towards the reel. You can latch your front door gate before you leave, close the door, then unlatch the Bow Wow Barrier from the outside when you return home.
